I did manage to "not lose" today. i had a stellar morning session but followed by a disasterous afternoon session where it was just cooler after cooler. sick sick sick. but i still ended the day up 4 buy ins and bout $130 from RB. lol and i did make 2.5k pts this week despite only playing for 4 days. i think next week i'm going to try to get 5k pts. that would net me $375.
anyway i think i played pretty well today. one thing i did was when ppl were check raising me min and 3 betting and what not, i just let it go for a few times. u kno give them the benefit of doubt. when they start abusin it then i start to play back at them. before i just played back at them right away if they did something i didn't lilke. i think that's a leak because most of the time they do have hands. i'm gona be honest and say that i haven't been playing my best poker lately and that i think a 3.5ptbb/100 winrate at 1-2 is not acceptable. until i can get it past 5pt, i'm not gona move up to 2-4 no matter what my br is. i'm gettin real comfortable at 1-2 tho so that's a good thing. .5-1 just feels way too small now lol
so yeah key hand of the day and i thought i played it pretty well this is against a regular who knos i play back at him and knos a lota times i don't have anything. this guy plays back at me quite a bit....

preflop and flop is pretty standard:
Turn: I checked because i didn't want to see a raise right here. it seems like he had a hand because he rarely just calls my bets. usually he raises it. i'm worried about a flopped flush but that means he'd havta call with something like QK of clubs. it was much more likely for him to have the A + the Kc. I also opted to check here so I can pretend like I'm afraid of the Ace and just shut down. Which i do a lot after my continuation bets are called.
River: So the river bricks. pot is at $240. we were very deep stacked each with like 450 behind before the hand started. i was thinking, ok he probably dind't flop the flush but he probably won't call a big bet here with just AK. i'm gona go ahead and make a smallish bet, make him think i'm bluffing and shove me thinking he has fold equity. so i did, i bet $130 into a $240 pot, he thinks for like 30 secs then shoves me. to be honest i wasn't really happy it worked out this way because this does kinda look like he flopped the flush....but then orignially i wanted him to do this and now he does it how da hell am i gona fold. I was thinking he prolly thinks i'm weak and don't have the Ace and didn't matter what he had he probably dind't want a call. it was tough and i thought for pretty long then finaly called to rake in the biggest pot so far in my UB life.
